We had a great adventure in Italy! Here we are in Siena, a medieval city a few hours from Rome.
This is how John saw Europe...
through his camera lens.
Here he is looking
at the colosseum
as we walk up
the street past
the Forum.
We were desperate
for a drink and
bathroom break
in Rome.
This place is
actually a "McDonalds"
it felt like a night club.
Here we are in
front of the Trevi
Fountain. Bernini is
our new favorite
artist. We want
fountains like
this in Utah.
Looks like a great time. Did you guys just ask strangers to take the pics of you two together? That is a very classy McDonalds were the prices of food comparable to the US McD's? You guys didn't look like tourists at all with the back packs, fanny packs and camera equipment all over your body
ReplyDeleteSeriously-we looked so cheesy all the time! The McDonald's charged about $11 (U.S.) for a Big Mac and $3 for a very small diet coke. On the plus side there was a public restroom (with 25 women in the line) most singing "Lady Gaga" songs with their ipod because she had put on a free concert the night before.
ReplyDeleteBTW, your iphone costs about $950 over there...
I love it! I think you did a great job on the photo book of it all too!
